Get To Know Me

Dr. Richard Scepura

In my role as a nurse leader, I have witnessed many employees suffering from the effects of burnout. Having experienced some symptoms, I knew all too well, but ignored them over a long span of time. The benefits of performing self-reflection on the variety of topics included will help you expand your emotional quotient (EQ). You will develop intellectual building blocks to sustain yourself and put burnout prevention front and center in your mind. As we meander together, exploring and absorbing perspectives, responding to self-reflection questioning, being inspired by artistry, you truly begin to heal on your workbook journey. Give yourself the time to journal daily. Just one day at a time, don’t work ahead. Do not wait! I promise the benefits of this teaching book will help you immensely to stave off burnout by learning to set limits while improving your self-care strategies. My best wishes as you proceed to make self-care your number one priority.
